The agreement
These terms are the agreement between Orka and the company that uses Orka. They govern the orkafield.com website and the platform at app.orkafield.com.
The service
Orka is B2B software for production engineering: it simulates, diagnoses, optimizes, and monitors artificial-lift wells (ESP, gas lift, rod lift, and PCP). It runs in the browser; there's nothing to install.
Decision support, not a substitute for engineering judgment
Orka's results — simulations, diagnostics, recommendations, and predictions — support engineering decisions. They don't replace your engineers' professional judgment, or the standards, procedures, and operating limits of your company or of each equipment manufacturer.
Every change to a well is decided, approved, and carried out by your company, under its own procedures.
Accounts and access
You sign in with a Google account. Each company manages its members, their roles, and their permissions, and is responsible for how its accounts are used.
If you suspect unauthorized access, write to [email protected] right away.
Your data
The data your company uploads belongs to it and is used only to provide the service, as the privacy policy explains. You can export it from the platform and request its deletion by writing to [email protected].
Acceptable use
Don't try to access other companies' data, bypass access controls, or overload the service. If you find a vulnerability, report it to [email protected] instead of exploiting it.
Availability
The platform runs replicated across two locations, but we don't guarantee it will be free of interruptions or errors. We may improve or change its features over time.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Orka is not liable for indirect damages, lost profits, or lost production arising from the use of the service or from decisions made with its results.
Suspension and termination
You can stop using the service at any time and request deletion of your data. We may suspend access for anyone who breaches these terms.
Changes to these terms
If these terms change, we'll publish the new version on this page with its update date.
