Who is responsible

Orka is the controller of the data described in this policy and provides the service on the orkafield.com website and the app.orkafield.com platform.

For any privacy question, write to [email protected].

What data we process

  • Your account: the name and email address of your Google account, which Google shares with us when you sign in.
  • Your place in your company: the company you belong to, your role, and your permissions.
  • The operational data your company uploads — wells, well tests, equipment, and telemetry — and the results the platform computes from it.
  • What you send us by email, including demo requests: the form opens your own email app.
  • Technical access logs, such as the IP address and the date and time of each request, to run and protect the service.

What we use it for

Only to provide the service: to identify you, apply your company's permissions, compute and store your simulations, diagnostics, and optimizations, reply to you, and run and protect the platform. We don't sell data or use it for advertising.

Your company owns its data

The operational data your company uploads belongs to it and is used only to provide the service to it. Each company sees only its own data: isolation is enforced in the database itself, on top of each member's roles and permissions.

Cookies and local storage

Only to keep you signed in and remember your preferences, such as theme and language. No trackers, no third-party analytics, and no advertising.

Who else sees the traffic

Only these providers, and no one else:

  • Cloudflare: all website and platform traffic runs through its network (content delivery, TLS encryption, and DDoS protection).
  • Google: sign-in with your Google account.
  • OpenStreetMap: the geographic map in the Field view loads its base map from tile.openstreetmap.org directly from your browser.

Where it's hosted

On our own infrastructure: data is hosted in Chile, with a replica in Colombia. Backups run daily, are encrypted before they leave our servers, and are stored off-site.

How long we keep it

For as long as your company's account is active. It's deleted when you ask.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct, or delete your personal data by writing to [email protected].
